Chocolate Chip Cookies

½ cup butter, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar (packed)

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 ½ cups flour

3/4 tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

2 cups chocolate chips



Preheat oven to 350°.


In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.


Add eggs and vanilla and mix thoroughly.


In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.


Add flour mixture to sugar mixture and stir well.


Incorporate chocolate chips and roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls.


Bake on parchment-lined baking sheets for 11-13 minutes.


Allow to cool on pan for one minute, then transfer to wire racks to cool

for another few minutes before serving.
