Snow Cream

½ cup heavy whipping cream

½ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

¾ cup sugar

Large bowl of fresh snow



Combine cream, milk, vanilla, and sugar in a large bowl; cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.


Put a second large bowl outside to collect snow, or use a wooden spoon to scoop clean, fresh snow from undisturbed drifts. After snow is collected, cover with a clean towel and leave outside in a sheltered spot until ready to mix.


When ready to eat, remove cream mixture from fridge and stir in scoops of snow until you get a firm consistency.


Divide into serving bowls and eat up!
